Route Driver - CDL B

As a client facing Route Driver, you will play a vital role as the face of Iron Mountain?s Shred division.? Your main focus and responsibility is to build a trusted partnership with your clients.? You should be dedicated to providing outstanding customer service by being responsive to customer issues and opportunities.? Make sure to focus on customer retention with an account ownership mentality.? You must also ensure assets are transported in a secure and safe manner on their regularly scheduled day.? Must be able to comply with all DOT requirements while operating company vehicles safely and courteously.? ?Follow safe work practices and take responsibility for your personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.? Demonstrate an understanding and utilization of product and service knowledge.? Make sure you use proper tools and equipment, and adhere to all safe work practices and policies in addition to the client?s safety guidelines. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonable within the scope of the activities described above.

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

  • Must have a valid driver?s license

  • Be able to obtain DOT/MTO certificate to operate DOT/MTO regulated vehicles

  • Ability to communicate with clients and operations staff

  • Ability to respond quickly to changing demands

  • Identify opportunities of new business to increase revenue

  • Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills acquired through 1-2 years of experience in a position requiring heavy public contact

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
