The Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Educator will join a highly skilled and dedicated team of nursing professionals in the Emergency Department. The Clinical Nurse Educator will support the goals and core values of the medical facility, and will do so by facilitating the development of all Emergency Room Nurses. The ER Nurse Educator will foster a productive work environment throughout the Emergency Room in order for each and every Emergency Room Nurse to achieve excellence in the clinical practice and deliverance of care.

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Emergency Services, the Nurse Educator of Emergency Services will assess the learning needs and potential areas of improvement within the Emergency Department. The Emergency Room Clinical Nurse Educator will then develop, strategize and implement educational activities through evidence based methods, and encourage engagement of all staff members. The ER Nurse Educator should be able to evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and tailor future activities in a way that promotes optimal success. 

The Clinical Nurse Educator of Emergency Room will serve as a model and mentor to all employees and should act in accordance with the hospital’s core values.
