We serve Counter Culture Coffee and offer training both virtually and at the Counter Culture Coffee training center in NYC.
This is a very small business that focuses on specialty coffee based drinks.
We have very limited food options and other than setting out daily Bakery deliveries and heating pastries for customers as requested, there is no cooking or baking required for this position.
Your primary focus will be preparing the variety of drinks we offer while maintaining a clean work enviroment and handling the register honestly and effeciently.

Duties:
- Greet, take customer orders in a friendly manner - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately and honestly - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including brewing equipment, countertops, and seating areas - Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation.
We only heat and serve pastries there is no cooking or baking required.
- Provide Friendly customer service by addressing customers coffee related questions - Upsell additional menu items or promotions to customers Requirements:
- Previous experience working on a manual espresso machine strongly preferred but not required -Basic Latte Art skills Highly preferred but not required - Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques - Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
